Jonathan Bell. That's the name I was given at birth. People also call me Doc, D.M., friend, etc.
I originally come from a small town in south-west Ohio, but am currently living abroad in the United Kingdom. It's a bit of a jump, but a welcome one.
Right now, I'm actively researching and aspiring to model my life after Mr. Rogers. While quiet spoken and often considered an odd man, Fred Rogers had an unconditional love for people through empathy and listening. My life is a continual growing process, and I hope to become some of what Mr. Rogers was.
I'm writing content and doing design work for a couple of organizations. I'm a "contributing best friend" at Worldcraft Club, doing their social media marketing, writing blogs, and also hosting on their podcast on occasion. I'm also doing design work and writing for Horizon Kingdoms, a small company doing some minor publishing and D&D Community Hosting. Lastly, I'm writing content by myself, expanding on what I know and continually learning.
This blog is meant to be a gathering point for all of the things I want to talk about in relation to my work, but otherwise can't post elsewhere. It will usually just mean D&D content that I've been thinking about, but it could be musings about rules, or just writing about stuff I've found interesting.
